I use the brown for my eyebrows, eyeliner and lashes, I have a black that I occasionally use for my eyes.
Just make sure the brush is wet enough to not have flakes. If there are any flakes I use a dry brush to tidy. After doing my lashes I use another wet brush to comb up the lashes to not have colour come off under my eyes. That seems to work fairly well for me.
Would not recommend. I read negative reviews, but still tried it as I wanted to find a plastic free mascara. Waste of my money. Did not stay on my eye lashes, smeared with just closing my eyes, raccoon eyes.
I got this as part of my efforts to go plastic free (and natural) for all of my skin care and cosmetic products. It fits the bill from that perspective, and it also goes on really well. However, similar to some of the other reviewers, after a couple hours of zoom calls I slowly turn into looking like a raccoon. It’s okay now working from home where I can wipe away the smudges as the day goes on, but I’d be too worried to wear this out and about. I could be doing it wrong though and if so, I’d love some resources on this as I don’t want to give this product up!
I love the idea of this mascara, but it doesn't stay on your lashes. It smudges on eyelids and under your eyes just from regular eye movement throughout the day. I was very hopeful this product would be an alternative for regular mascara but I can't see it performing well in damp or hot weather. I also wonder how much is wasted once you've used up half the tin-not that easy to get any on the applicator evenly with the rims of the tin.
This was the last thing I needed to complete a zero waste makeup routine and I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to make it work. But this is even better than my high end brand named mascaras, little water and it work perfectly, no smudging throughout the day either
