Clean, green, and simple!

The laundry detergent you use, should be as sensitive to your skin as it the environment.

It is our mission to put your family first, and is why our eco-strips are hypoallergenic and paraben free.

When you use Tru Earth Eco-Strips, you will feel confident that you are taking care of your family, and their future on this planet.

700,000,000 plastic laundry jugs are dumped into landfills across North America every year.

Not Tru Earth!

Our zero waste laundry detergent strips are packaged in a plastic-free compostable cardboard sleeve.

Better yet, our plastic-free package doubles as a shipping envelope further cutting back on waste.

Each laundry strip packs ultra-concentrated, hypoallergenic, eco-friendly cleaning power into a tiny, pre-measured strip of liquidless laundry detergent that you just toss in the wash. Its low-sudsing formula works in all types of washing machines, including high-efficiency (HE).

The smart hypoallergenic laundry detergent formulation effectively seeks out and dislodges dirt molecules and stains, keeping them in suspension until they are rinsed away. It makes your laundry washing chore easier, healthier, more economical, and much kinder to our planet.

ABOUT Tru Earth

When Ryan and his wife Kathleen were expecting their third child, Ryan would wake up, pour his 4 year old son,and 3 year old daughter a glass of milk, and watch YouTube kids videos with them.

As most kids do, they LOVED watching shows about toys.

Ryan loved his morning routine with the kids, but he got upset by the crazy amounts of plastic waste in the shows they watched.

In one popular toy show, it almost seemed the family was promoting this waste. A kid would open a treasure chest made of plastic, wrapped in plastic, with an egg carton of plastic sitting on top. Underneath the toy was more plastic, with 20 little parts wrapped in plastic.

“This is insane!” Ryan thought.

Ryan wasn’t a hardcore environmentalist by any stretch, but he cared about the world and his kids’ futures.

He thought “there’s got to be something we can do! This plastic is just about convenience, but what if there’s a way to make sustainable packaging convenient?”

...And from that, Tru Earth was born.

I have converted to Tru Earth

I have been using Tru Earth laundry strips for a while now & love them. They completely dissolve in cold water, my families laundry always comes out fresh, & there's no mess!
I much prefer these to liquids or powders.
As an added bonus, they're super easy to take to travel with. They take up virtually no space, no risk of spilling, & you just tear off what you need.
I highly recommend these!

Side note: I don't love them for handwashing in the sink, but for everything in the machine, they work brilliantly

Fantastic product

This was wonderful!! I bought it to reduce plastic and have an all natural+ sensitive skin laundry product for my babies! Love it! Buying again!

These strips are wonderful & such a great invention! Depending on the load size I was able to half the strips often with the same results are liquid detergent. Gentle, light scent (but I barely smell it after the dryer). MAKE THE SWITCH, you won't regret it!

TruEarth Eco-strips

I bought a package of 32 load ecostrips a few months ago. We had been using Arm & Hammer liquid laundry detergent in their plastic bottles. We had been looking for traditional powdered detergent for laundry and Tide and Arm&Hammer do come in cardboard boxes, but otherwise several manufacteurs have powdered but still in plastic jugs (whaaaat!) But seeing your splendid novelty add on YouTube I decided to give the Ecostrips a chance, and I bought one package from a Calgary Little Plastic outlet at Chapparel. They work wonderfully, and my wife's comments are "more or less unscented (at least not annoying); they work well for machine laundry (she washes only small to small-medium sized loads ... unlike me ... I just pack'em in); there is no plastic for 'recycling' (dream on); too bad they are not a little cheaper (liquid is about 40% of the strip's cost); she already is advising her fellow ecology etc profs about their benefits; and finally: its an CANADIAN product (yea)." We live in Midnapore and you might consider a small addvert in their monthly community newsletter magazine (and others' too). In sum: good product, we'll buy again.
